Our Bidding Process, As Simple as A / B / C
A: Bid Request Put into Action
When in receipt of a request to participate in the bidding process of a proposed construction project, which normally includes the plans, specifications, soils report and other pertinent information, William G. McCullough Company will provide the following services.
B: Site Visit
- Investigate the site conditions for possible conflict with other improvements as may be evident.
- Verify published bid items of proposed work, or perform an actual quantity take off of the proposed work for client review.
C: Technology
Wm. G. McCullough Co. utilizes the latest in engineering technology to perform accurate quantity take offs of earthwork volumes, areas and linear measurements.
The bidding process involves computer generated work up costs for every item of work which is then transferred to a spread sheet for further consideration prior to producing a computer print out for presentation, along with proposed construction schedules.
The scope of proposed work is documented with explicit information to avoid misunderstandings.
Our entire Staff works with our customers for a common goal: To see that the Job gets what is needed and moves along as scheduled.
